I work directly with you on the design. A project can be a layout for one part of a yard, drawings for a built-in, or a model that helps you decide how a renovation should fit together.
- Gardens and landscapes
- Layouts for outdoor spaces, planting beds, trellises, paths, lighting, and irrigation. I plan around the space you have, its constraints, and how you want to use it.
- Decks, fences, and renovations
- Designs for decks, fences, small additions, and renovations. Models make it easier to review the layout and work through dimensions, materials, and connections to the existing space.
- Cabinets and built-ins
- Custom cabinetry, shelving, benches, and built-in furniture, modeled to fit the space with dimensions and details for the build.
- Parts for 3D printing
- 3D modeling for custom parts, with the shape and dimensions worked out around what the part needs to do.
- Websites and software
- Website development, custom software, and projects using AI. My background includes programming, scientific computing, and machine learning.
Drawings and visualization
Depending on the project, I can provide 3D models, renderings, VR walkthroughs, site plans, dimensioned drawings, and schematics. We can agree on the scope and the materials you need at the start.
You can use the drawings to discuss the work with a contractor of your choice. I’m happy to recommend contractors, too.
Garden advice
My wife is an Alabama Extension Master Gardener. For help with soil, fertilization, plant selection, or pest and disease problems, I can bring her knowledge into the garden planning.
